shipping

I only ship within the UK currently. Items will usually be sent via Royal Mail, or occasionally via EVRI. I prefer to send ‘48 hour delivery’ as it is the greener option - but if you are in a hurry, please contact me.

If you are outside the UK but would like an item, I can investigate international shipping for you. Please email me with your enquiry.

I am happy for you to call at my home and pick-up your purchases. Contact me if you want to arrange a collection. I’m in Hull, East Yorkshire.

packaging

Boxes, bubble wrap, tissue paper etc is bought from my local scrap store or recycled wherever possible to try and make the P&P process as environmentally friendly as possible. If you have boxes and bubble wrap you no longer want, I am happy to reuse for you.

And if you see me at a craft fair you will notice that all my makes have a hanging tag that describes what the make was in its previous life. I could obviously buy new beautiful tags but that’s not my style. I make my tags from old greetings cards and the ribbon is harvested from the hanging shoulder tags from clothes. I get my friends to save these for me.

returns & exchanges

If, for any reason, you decide you do not want the Sew Helen Richardson item you bought, you can return it for a full refund or exchange. You must return in within 14 days and in the condition it was dispatched from me. You will need to pay the return postage.

damaged or faulty goods

I check all items before dispatch but please do contact me if you find the item is faulty. All your costs will be refunded. I may ask for you to return the item to me (I will pay postage) or will ask to see pics of the damage so I can ascertain if these happened during transit, if it was a fault with the hardware or another fault.
