Embroidered Kiss Lock Purse
A neighbour gave me a bag of her mum’s old sewing materials. In the bottom of the bag was a doily that she had embroidered many decades ago.
It seemed such a shame for such beautiful embroidery to not be seen - and it was just the right size to use on one of my larger kiss-lock purses.
I popped it through the washing machine to freshen it up and found a purple velvet fabric sample to use for the back. It’s lined with some co-ordinating reclaimed fabric.
This purse is my larger size. It’s large enough to hold a couple of credit cards, a key and a lippy etc.
