Red leather tote bag
I don’t know whether to described this bag as sofa red or dark salmon pink - but the colour is lovely.
The bag is made from a reclaimed leather sofa that had more of a natural raw hide feel, which has resulted in a beautiful patina to the leather. It isn’t perfect but I really love the mottled, textured look it has.
I’ve added a bag charm - big fun flowers - and it is detachable so you can remove and use on other bags if you wish. It is lined with reclaimed vintage fabric with jars or preserved fruit and garden flowers printed on.
It is a medium tote bag, with a boxed corner base. It has a leather slip pocket for mobile phone and a handy key-finder to eliminate the rummage every time we need our keys. Silver coloured hardware.
Size: height 31cm, width at top 42cm. Box base 9cm deep. Handles from top rivet to rivet 52cm.
Please note that because this bag is made from an old sofa there may be marks and imperfections to the leather in places. This doesn’t detract from the bag’s beauty and reminds us of its sustainability
